All right then! Just when we were about to call it a day with Silk Sonic, after waiting to see if they would deliver an additional single from their upcoming album, “BAM” Friday, July 30,2021 it arrived “SKATE”.

The video reveals an outdoor scene, seemly something you would see in the back of a neighborhood restaurant since the turf is a parking lot. The female dancers are dressed in daisy dukes on roller-skates. The band dress attire is something between the late 70’s early 80’s style. The point is Silk Sonic came through keeping the same vibe of a throwback to the 80’s. The song overall is not as impressive as “Leave the Door Open” but catchy. The joint identifies more with a Disco sound. Both Anderson.Paak and Bruno Mars voices are distinguishable and again a great collaboration.
